Along the New Waterway you will find the EXPO-INFO Pavilion of the project waterway Hoek of Holland at Sea.  This in the eye jumping building offers space at two expositions: an exhibition about the shipping traffic in the world harbor Rotterdam and a variable exhibition over the development plan in Hoek of Holland. Furthermore there is a large foyer/lunch room, where you can enjoy the unique view on the passing shipping traffic over the New Waterway. 

The lighthouse has been built in 1893, it has a height of ca.  21 meters and consists of six floors.  The lighthouse has done lighting service until 1974.  Now there is a permanent exhibition over the history of lighthouses, lighthouse models, light changers, propaan gaslights, radio beacon, photograph material and chain.  From the most point of the lighthouse, you have a brilliant view over Hoek of Holland. 

The Maeslantkering is the last part of the delta plan.  The construction is nearly just as large as the Eiffeltower, but weighs four turn so heavy.  The Stormvloedkering consists of two half-round doors, each 210 m. long.  With heavy storm, the doors in floating position are brought and sprung up then the river.  In the middle arrived sinks the 22 m. high door to the bottom and closed so the New Waterway finished when the storm past is. 

The coast apologies museum has been established in the former armor fort to Hoek of Holland.  This fort has been built at the New Waterway to apology of the Rotterdam region.  The lake than hundred years old building with its many rooms, courses and kick gives an image of the then life in a fort.

The historical downtown of a lovely destination is Delft for a day out.  You can Delft (let) transport self on different manners through the downtown of and are compete to do also for children there a scores of amusing and to experience.

Summer in the hague means enjoy theater and culture, shopping in the downtown or enjoy the sun on the beach of Scheveningen or view dune.  After a snack and drink by one of the many beach tents or an extensive dinner in the downtown you can enjoy one of the amusing events in the hague or well a cafe in dive.  Also in the winter is the hague royal multi-purpose!
